Hogwarts My Little Ponies: Gryffindor (note the lion-ish features), Ravenclaw (note the raven wings), Hufflepuff (note she's got a badger stripe and is hard at work), and Slytherin (I love the tatoo, and how prim and pretty he is ^_^). And of course they are all depicted in their house colours (except for Hufflepuff, but if I did that, then her crest wouldn't show very well and she'd look more like a bumblebee than a badger, ey? ^_~)
I have a few more Harry Potter MLPs planned too, so keep an eye out. For ~Roogna, whose fault this is. Darn you, woman, and your uber-contagious MLP obsession!

mwahahahaha! success! *evil grin* they look awesome! My fav is gryffindor - the lionish feathers are a great touch. and the slytherine tattoo is great too. they all fit their houses well ^_^
I look forward to more.
I shall also have to have you draw my personna - your great a drawing ponies...so figure out something you want me to draw in return

It was the only one that it seemed appropriate to do that way. Ravenclaw & Gryffindor are pegasi because ravens & gryffins both have wings, but there didn't seem a point (har-har) in giving them horns, since neither gryffins nor ravens have one. And Hufflepuff seems best suited to being a "mundane" pony (not that that's a bad thing!) But unicorns are noted for being noble and often haughty creatures, beautiful but dangerous, and the horn seemed to correspond somewhat to a snake's fang, so there ya have it! ^_^

And yes, I'd be happy to draw your persona, when I get some other pics done. And in trade ... draw a pony with straight black mane & tail, a black stripe going from her nose down her back (like Hufflepuff has here), a white crescent moon on her brow, white wings, and a black wolf's head, looking straight on, on her haunch. That's "Moonsget". ^_^

A brand new monthly article which showcases some of deviantART's finest equine artists, as well as recognizing the lesser-known but equally talented ones. Interviews, helpful tutorials and features can all be found here too! I hope you enjoy it.
The idea of this contest is to set you up completely blind with a mythical being - from any world culture - and turn you loose to come up with a deviation based around it!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
