A very late gift for -- she was my very first 100th favouriter on any image (she faved [link] ).

I got the idea to do a Narcissa MLP, and she requested it be the Narcissa of book(s six and) seven, who would do anything fo her son, rather than the stuck-up version. Well, technically this is well before book seven, but the idea is the same, ne? See, she cares more about watching her little boy fly than her reflection ...

I just couldn't picture her without a gown, so her symbol is covered -- but if you could see it on that side, it would be a slytherin shield, same as what's on her dress. Her other side would be a narcissus blossom resting on a mirror -- she's wearing a narcissus pendant around her neck. Draco's got a dragon on the visible side -- he would have a Slytherin shield on the other side. (You can see him grown up and playing Quidditch against Harry here: [link] ) And Narcissa's wearing a serpent bracelet (anklet?) around her front leg. And Narcissa is a Sweetheart Sisters-style pony -- I just thought it suited her better.

I put the mirror in (which I actually took, along with the wallpaper, from another drawing of mine, of Draco, Pansy, and Snape: [link] ) partially because the greek myth of Narcissus tells of a man who was in love with his own image, so I felt a mirror belonged in there somewhere, and also simply because I thought the wall needed livening up. The floor under them is meant to be polished black marble.
