In the life ...

Well, this afternoon (well, yesterday, as it took longer to write this entry than I expected) marked my fourth anniversary here at devianART! Alas, whle I did some sketching and some work on that fic today, I was also working on my articles and catching up on TV, so I didn't *finish* anything special for the gallery to celebrate it. Kinda snuck up on me. XD I'll have to make sure I do summat special for my 5th anniversary, though, sou desu ne?

In other news, once I get Tart stuff done this week, I should have some more free time. Then I'll get the birthday pics that I owe ~Tincrash and `vaia done, get a jump on an interview I have slated next week, and then open some slots for commissions the week after! Well, *maybe* the week after -- La wants to do some Iron Man fanart. And I'd like to make a bit more progress on some personal writings, and those fics that have been on the backburner for a while. *sigh*

Oddly enough, the muses don't seem to care in the slightest about the new Narnia or the new Indy. Maybe once I actually go see them they'll get more revved up. Although ... I never did any Narnia fanwork with the first one, much as I loved it, even though I was *tempted* to do Mr Tumnus. Curious ....

Gah, and I need to get working on new Stargate pics for Dragon*Con, too -- definitely have to do Radek, since Nykl will be there! Probably Hammond, too.

Oh! That's what I'm forgetting! My SG-1 fic, "Origin", was nominated for a Blue Moon award now too! (One of my drawings of Daniel was already nominated.) I have the fic in my dev-art gallery, but it's not the most recent version (updating lit subs would be so much easier if devART had a real-text option, or else accepted more HTML tags than it currently does). This is actually the second award nom I've gotten for "Origin". I'm grateful for the nom, certainly, but to be honest, I'm actually slightly baffled as to why that one is so popular -- I like the first in that series, "Solace", better, personally. XD
